Guatemala

Guatemala has one of the most architecturally unique theatres we have had the honour of performing in — Centro Cultural Miguel Angel. It looks as if a spaceship from some civilisation beyond Earth had landed in the middle of Guatemala City. It is always a pleasure to return — and an even greater one when the house is sold out, as it was on this tour.

There are no volcanoes in our country, so whenever a window between shows allows it, we make a point of visiting one. On this tour it was Pacaya. On the way up: no rain, a light breeze, daylight. On the way back: heavy rain, a strong wind, and night. We even lost one of our company in the jungle. Luckily he shouted for help while we were still close enough to hear him.
